Join Nasdaq Verafin, a leader in Financial Crime Management, revolutionizing the industry with cloud-based solutions. As a Technical Analyst on the Onboarding team, you will import, validate, and map customer data into our data model, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality analytics for our financial crime detection platform. This role involves collaborating with financial institutions, setting up SFTP connections, and performing data validation to maintain data integrity.

Must Have:
  • Collaborate with financial institutions to gather and understand source data from core and ancillary banking systems.
  • Set up Secure File Transfer Protocol connections.
  • Translate and ingest diverse data types into Nasdaq Verafin’s standardized data model using our import and scheduling tools.
  • Work closely with the Interfaces and Data Validation teams to ensure data is accurately represented within the Nasdaq Verafin application.
  • Perform both visual and programmatic data validation to confirm data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
  • Graduate of a technical college program.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, or onboarding in a SaaS or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with data validation methodologies and reconciliation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Outstanding customer support skills.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, JSON, Amazon Web Services, Linus Scripting and XML.

Are you passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically savvy Technical Analyst to join our Onboarding team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for importing, validating, and mapping customer data into the Nasdaq Verafin data model—ensuring seamless integration and high-quality analytics for our financial crime detection platform.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with financial institutions to gather and understand source data from core and ancillary banking systems (e.g., wires, ACH, online banking logs).
  • Set up Secure File Transfer Protocol connections
  • Translate and ingest diverse data types into Nasdaq Verafin’s standardized data model using our import and scheduling tools.
  • Work closely with the Interfaces and Data Validation teams to ensure data is accurately represented within the Nasdaq Verafin application
  • Perform both visual and programmatic data validation to confirm data integrity and resolve discrepancies

What We're Looking For:

  • Graduate of a technical college program
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, or onboarding in a SaaS or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with data validation methodologies and reconciliation techniques.

This position is located in St. John’s and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
