Job Summary

The 2D Artist role requires proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, focusing on vector art, concept sketching, and rendering. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of form, composition, perspective, color theory, lighting, human anatomy, and silhouette, alongside excellent illustration and design skills. Key responsibilities include creating original ideas, managing timelines, and demonstrating strong communication and teamwork. The role also involves asset creation, image manipulation, graphic design, basic design research, lighting knowledge, and familiarity with game marketing and UI design.

Must Have

  • Proficiency in vector art using Illustrator.
  • Experience creating concept sketches in Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience rendering concept sketches in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Strong sense of form, composition, perspective, color theory, lighting, human anatomy, and silhouette.
  • Excellent illustration and design skills.
  • Ability to understand and meet timelines and deadlines.
  • Experience in creating original ideas.
  • Ability to take direction well and collaborate effectively.
  • Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude.
  • Ability to create, paint assets and have good image manipulation skills.
  • A sound grip on graphic design and a good aesthetic sense.
  • Good with basic design research and basic lighting knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge about game marketing or marketing in general.
  • Ability to work with/design basic game UI.
