2D Match-3 Artist

VOKI Games is a mobile game development studio known for global hits like Manor Matters and Mystery Matters. We are seeking a talented 2D Match-3 Artist to join our creative team. This role involves conceptualizing and creating Match-3 elements, participating in all art stages from idea to 2D finalization, and collaborating with game designers. Must Have

• Ability to draw by hand (tablet work)
• Expert knowledge of match-3 gameplay principles and UI
• Strong knowledge of composition, lighting, and color
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including vector graphics
• More than 2 years of experience in casual style
• Portfolio with implemented match-3 projects
• Ability to constructively accept feedback
• Ability to work actively in a team and participate in brainstorms
• Proficiency in ComfyUI and/or Forge
• Ability to generate art txt2img, img2img with ControlNet, Inpaint
• Ability to make AI-assisted image edits
• Invent interesting Match-3 element concepts
• Participate in all stages of art creation (idea, sketch, modeling, 2D finalization)
• Interact with game designers and team members

We are simply made for each other if you:

• Can draw by hand (working with a tablet)
• Have expert knowledge of the principles of gameplay and the logic of the match-3 component: chips, elements, bonuses, boosters, and UI
• Have confident knowledge of composition, lighting, and color, a good level of line sketch, color
• Are professionally proficient in Adobe Photoshop, specifically working with vector graphics (Pen Tool, Shapes)
• Have more than 2 years of experience in casual style
• Have a portfolio with implemented match-3 projects and high-level graphics (portfolio link is mandatory)
• Can constructively accept feedback on your work results
• Can actively work in a team and participate in brainstorms
• Are proficient in ComfyUI and/or Forge (and internal editors)
• Can generate art txt2img, img2img using ControlNet (Canny, Depth, etc.), Inpaint
• Can make image edits using AI: change pose/style/correct composition, etc.

What you will need to do:

• Invent interesting and non-standard concepts for Match-3 element images in the project's given style
• Participate in all stages of art creation: idea, sketch, modeling, 2D finalization
• Interact with game designers and other team members

A plus would be:

• Art education
• Proficiency in 3D software Blender and its use for creating chips for further post-processing
• Ability to train and use LoRA/Custom Models;
• Ability to train and use custom GPT / Gemini chatbots
