Manual QA Engineer

This role involves analyzing requirements, planning testing processes, writing test cases, identifying and tracking issues, discussing fixes with developers, re-testing defects, and maintaining test documentation. Must Have

• 1+ year of QA Engineer experience in gamedev
• Experience testing casual mobile games and Adventure mechanics
• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of software testing fundamentals, test design techniques, types of testing
• Understanding of Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban methodologies
• Experience in creating test documentation (checklists, test cases, bug reports, test reports)
• Experience with IOS and Android operating systems
• Experience with Amazon, Huawei, macOS, UWP platforms
• Experience with TestRail, Android Studio, Xcode, Charles or Fiddler
• Experience with Git version control system
• Experience testing products with in-game and marketing analytics systems (Swrve, Amplitude, Appsflyer, Firebase)
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Experience with ASANA or JIRA bug-tracking systems

We are simply made for each other if you:

• Worked as a QA Engineer in gamedev for 1 year or more (gamedev experience is mandatory)
• Have experience testing casual mobile games, understand the specifics of Adventure mechanics testing.
• Understand the software development lifecycle
• Know the fundamentals of software testing, test design techniques, types and kinds of testing
• Understand the basic principles of software development methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban)
• Have experience in creating test documentation (checklists, test cases, bug reports, testing reports)
• Have experience with IOS and Android operating systems
• Worked with various mobile and desktop platforms (Amazon, Huawei, macOS, UWP)
• Have experience working with TestRail, Android Studio, Xcode, Charles or Fiddler
• Worked with Git version control system
• Have experience testing products in conjunction with in-game and marketing analytics systems (Swrve, Amplitude, Appsflyer, Firebase)
• Understand client-server architecture
• Worked with ASANA or JIRA bug-tracking systems

What you will need to do:

• Analyze testing requirements
• Plan the testing process
• Write test cases (testing scenarios)
• Identify problem areas, enter them into the tracking system
• Discuss fixes with developers
• Track the lifecycle of errors
• Perform re-testing of eliminated defects
• Analyze testing
• Maintain test documentation
