VOKI Games, a mobile game development studio behind global hits like Manor Matters and Mystery Matters, is seeking a talented 2D Artist Generalist. The role involves developing unique concepts for illustrations, meta objects, backgrounds, and environment elements in a specified style. Responsibilities include finalizing art with high realism and expressiveness, applying AI technologies such as Stable Diffusion, Gemini, GPT, Krea, and Midjourney for reference, quality improvement, and production acceleration. The artist will actively collaborate with the team, participate in brainstorms, and adhere to project pipelines and deadlines.

Must Have

• Hand drawing skills (tablet work)
• Professional Adobe Photoshop proficiency
• Over 3 years of experience in casual art style
• Portfolio demonstrating current skill level (link required)
• Strong knowledge of composition, lighting, and color
• Proficient in ComfyUI and/or Forge (and internal editors)
• Ability to generate art using txt2img, img2img with ControlNet (Canny, Depth, etc.), Inpaint
• Ability to edit images using AI: changing pose / style / correcting composition, etc.

Good to Have

• Experience creating small 2D animations for game elements
• Technical preparation of art for animation (including slicing)
• Ability to create icons and interface elements matching the overall game style
• Experience with 3D (creating three-dimensional models of characters or objects)
• Ability to train and use LoRA / Custom Models
• Ability to train and use custom GPT / Gemini chatbots

• Develop unique ideas and concepts for illustrations and meta objects, backgrounds, and environment elements in the project's given style
• Finalize art and detailed elaboration of illustrations and meta objects, including a high level of realism, portrait resemblance and expressiveness of characters, hand-drawn textures of meta objects
• Apply artificial intelligence technologies, including Stable Diffusion, Gemini, GPT, Krea, Midjourney for reference search, quality improvement, and accelerating the production of illustrations and meta objects
• Adhere to established deadlines for tasks and project pipelines
• Actively interact with the team, participate in brainstorms and idea discussions
