As a Game UI/UX Artist, you will design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for games, collaborating with the lead artist to create 2D artwork, icons, buttons, frames, and panels for mobile games. You will also develop UI concepts, motion graphics, curate visual material, and manage dev toolkits for mobile game projects. The role involves balancing product mechanics, difficulty, and UX flow, requiring a strong 2D illustration background and proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with hyper-casual games is highly valued.
Must Have
- Create eye-catching 2D artwork and visuals in alignment with brand standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the lead artist to design user interfaces, including icons, buttons, frames, and panels for mobile games.
- Develop user interface concepts and motion graphics to showcase transitions and interactions within the game engine.
- Curate visual material to enhance and define the game's visual style.
- Take charge of our dev toolkit for multiple mobile game projects, including creating design documents, diagrams, and flowcharts.
- Balance and fine-tune product mechanics, difficulty levels, and UX flow.
- Utilize a strong 2D illustration background with a focus on perspective.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Stay updated on modern UI/UX standards for mobile games and industry trends.
- Apply high creativity and intuition to enhance systemic, narrative, and developer mechanics.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence and Jira.
