Job Description
This 3D Animator position in Islamabad requires a minimum of 4 years of experience. Responsibilities include animating realistic character actions, creatures, props, and cameras; creating scene layouts; composing and animating cameras cinematically; collaborating with 3D artists and supervisors; and ensuring client requirements are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong understanding of animation principles, experience with animation software (Maya, Flash, Spine, After Effects, or equivalent), excellent communication skills, and a passion for video games. They will also work closely with senior artists to implement methodologies and manage project quality control, working towards timely completion of character assets.
Must have:
- Animate realistic characters and scenes

- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Minimum 4 years experience
Good to have:
- FX and particle animation
- Modeling, rigging, or technical art skills
- Unity experience

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Animates realistic, story-driven character actions that are exciting, emotional, and compelling.
- Animates creatures, props, vehicles, and cameras, as well as actions based on storyboards, script pages, or descriptions.
- Creates scene layouts using a library of assets.
- Composes and animates cameras in a cinematic style.
- Works closely with 3D artists, leads and the animation supervisor to ensure the clients’ requirements are met.
- Works under guidance of the senior 3D artists to grow and develop the business, as well as implement working methodologies, manage large projects, and coordinate the visual effects output and quality control.
- Works with lead animator to ensure timely completion of character assets at the desired quality bar.
- Well aware of Animation Principals.
- Serves as an active participant in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.
Requirements:
- Experience in game development animating characters using Maya / Flash / Spine? After Effects or equivalent 3D or 2D program
- Strong understanding of traditional animation principles and how they can be used to enhance gameplay and creative marketing trailers
- Self-motivation, great communication skills, and team player attitude
- Able to work creatively as part of large or small group
- A passion for video games
Plus Points:
- A passion for video games
- Experience in FX and Particle animation
- Skill in one more related discipline: Modeling, rigging, or technical art
- Experience with Unity
Experience:
Mid- Senior level, minimum 4 years of exp.
