We are looking for a dedicated and experienced 3D Generalist (all genders) helping us to take some of the most exciting AAA brands to the next level. This fulltime position is either based at our headquarters in Munich or fully remote.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in producing high-quality assets and environments by rendering visually stunning, dynamic and believable worlds for our projects. You will be responsible for developing efficient workflows, problem-solving technical challenges, and optimizing content creation pipelines.
Your Tasks
- Together with the team you will be responsible for delivering the art direction of our biggest IPs and provide the key art to diverse marketing needs
- You will produce high-quality 3D Assets and complete environments to support the Project Game Vision and the Development Art Team
- You will support Art Direction processes and collaborate with the internal team in creating key art, high-quality aspirational target shots, or in-game mockups in the artistic direction
- You will be responsible for developing efficient workflows, problem-solving technical challenges, and optimizing content creation pipelines.
- You will intensely collaborate with Art Directors, external development teams and stakeholders across the organization
Your Profile
- Extensive experience as an Environment Artist, Environment TD, or 3D Generalist creating high-quality assets and scenes for games, animation, or VFX
- Significant participation in the production of at least one game title
- Deep understanding of art fundamentals and design, with a sharp eye for composition, values, shape, and detail
- An exceptional understanding of environment pipelines, including asset creation, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering final content
- Excellent modeling skills and strong knowledge of industry-standard software tools such as 3ds Max (or Maya/Blender), Houdini, ZBrush, Unreal Engine, Substance, Designer/Painter
- Experienced with art pipelines and technical limitations in game development
- Ability to respond elegantly to complex creative changes, even late in the process
- Must be highly organized, self-driven, customer-focused, and a great team player
