Job Summary

Hugging Face is seeking its first Account Executive in the US to drive revenue growth by selling Hub solutions and enterprise services. This role involves owning the full sales cycle, building relationships with technical and business stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams to shape go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will identify market trends, ensure customer satisfaction, and represent Hugging Face at industry events, contributing to the democratization of AI through open science and collaboration.

Must Have

  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—for new and existing customers across the US.
  • Drive revenue growth by selling Hugging Face’s Hub offerings.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams.
  • Identify and act on market trends, customer feedback, and data insights.
  • Partner with Developer Relations and Customer Success.
  • Represent Hugging Face at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B sales in the AI, ML, or data science communities in the US.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex, technical sales environments.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, AI, or software development workflows.
  • Experience selling to technical buyers (e.g. ML engineers, data scientists, CTOs, DevOps).
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • A consultative sales approach.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience selling open-source products.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Gong, Slack, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, Git, or command-line tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.

About the Role

At Hugging Face, we’re on a mission to democratize artificial intelligence through open science and open-source collaboration. Our Hub is the fastest-growing platform for machine learning, hosting millions of models, datasets, and applications.As we accelerate our monetization strategy, we're looking for our first Account Executive to join our team in the US and help drive revenue growth by selling our Hub solutions and related enterprise services.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—for new and existing customers across the US.
  • Drive revenue growth by selling Hugging Face’s Hub offerings, including enterprise access, private spaces, team plans, and professional services.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with technical and business stakeholders at high-growth startups, scale-ups, and enterprises.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to shape go-to-market strategies and align customer needs with product development.
  • Identify and act on market trends, customer feedback, and data insights to optimize sales strategies and improve conversion.
  • Partner with Developer Relations and Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Hugging Face at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings to expand brand presence and pipeline.

About You

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B sales in the AI, ML, or data science communities in the US. (ideally in developer tools, open-source, or AI/ML platforms)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex, technical sales environments.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, AI, or software development workflows (you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable speaking with them).
  • Experience selling to technical buyers (e.g. ML engineers, data scientists, CTOs, DevOps).
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • A consultative sales approach—focused on understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently in a rapidly evolving startup environment.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Prior experience selling open-source products.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Gong, Slack, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, Git, or command-line tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
