Job Summary

This techno-functional Business Consultant role supports global PreSales efforts for Blue Yonder Supply Chain Solutions in the Retail Industry. The consultant will collaborate with internal stakeholders to build business workflows for prospective demos, showcasing solution capabilities. Responsibilities include developing product demonstrations, industry use cases, and business narratives, translating them into user-driven workflows. The role requires independent work in a dynamic sales environment, understanding supply chain functions like forecasting and replenishment, and assessing business needs for product functionality and enhancements. Candidates need 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Solutions and strong domain knowledge in retail planning.

Must Have

  • Work collaboratively with field PreSales globally to support ongoing Sales pursuit showcasing Blue Yonder Supply Chain Solutions across Retail Industry
  • Techno-functional role, working with internal stakeholders to build out business workflow for a prospective demo leveraging Blue Yonder Solution capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and deliver in a dynamic environment
  • Working experience in supply chain planning solutions
  • Participates in business process discovery to design/construction of business workflows catering to industry needs in a PreSales cycle
  • Understands how Supply Chain functions across Forecasting, Replenishment and Planning process within Retail sub domains
  • Work with dynamic cross functional teams including Product Development, Product Management, Sales and PreSales providing techno-functional support on ongoing Sales pursuit
  • Responsible for supporting and building business demos for respective solution area and industry
  • Works as a member of e2e PreSales Demo Team on building product demonstration, Industry Use Cases, story boarding and business narratives
  • Translating Industry use cases and narrative to user driven workflow within Blue Yonder Solutions
  • Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmaps
  • Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements
  • Graduate/Postgraduate/MBA with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain Solutions
  • Competent working and hands-on knowledge of Supply Chain Planning Solutions and Integrations
  • Possess understanding of Supply chain domain across Retail Industry in planning space

  • Ability to work independently and deliver in a dynamic environment given the nature of sales engagements.
  • Has working experience in supply chain planning solutions.
  • Participates in business process discovery to design/construction of business workflows catering to industry needs in a PreSales cycle.
  • Understands how Supply Chain functions across Forecasting, Replenishment and Planning process within Retail sub domains
  • Escalates issues that may have negative scheduling impact. Always conducts oneself in a professional manner with BLUE YONDER customers and internal associates.
  • Ensures the security and integrity of corporate assets and intellectual property. Ensures compliance with the internal and external company policies and procedures.
  • Keen on learning new Solutions and open to learning technology to complement the functional knowledge.

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate/MBA with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain Solutions.
  • Competent working and hands-on knowledge of Supply Chain Planning Solutions and Integrations.
  • Possess understanding of Supply chain domain across Retail Industry in planning space
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts / domains as needs arise.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to build relationships across business units for collaboration, data requests, and joint analysis.
  • SQL, Python, Snowflakes, Sigma Reporting/Analytics knowledge is a plus.
