Business Analyst - TMS - Sales Support

This role involves designing and configuring Transportation Management System (TMS) demonstrations and building reusable assets. The Business Analyst will collaborate with regional pre-sales teams to design demo scenarios, create storylines, and configure use cases for sales cycles. Responsibilities also include coordinating with product teams for roadmap visibility and feedback, innovating demo delivery for quality and reusability, and potentially conducting product demonstrations. The role requires adapting to new technologies, understanding industry integrations, and demonstrating strong supply chain domain knowledge.

Must Have

• Design and configure TMS demonstrations.
• Collaborate with regional pre-sales teams on demo scenarios and storylines.
• Coordinate with internal product teams (Product Management, Product Development).
• Generate innovation for demo delivery improvement and reusability.
• Learn and adapt to applicable technologies, products, and tools.
• Develop knowledge of industry-standard integrations.
• Demonstrate good understanding of supply chain domain and solutions.
• Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Work independently with minimal direction.
• Communicate effectively in virtual and local environments.
• Hold a BE/B.Tech or MBA from Tier 1 institutions.
• Have 2-4 years experience in the supply chain domain.
• Knowledge of Blue Yonder TMS and Transportation suite.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Understand high-level architecture, databases, SQL, APIs.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and MS Excel.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Python
• Client-facing experience

Scope:

• Designing and configuring the Transportation Management System (TMS) demonstrations and build reusable assets.
• Collaborate with the regional pre-sales team to design the demo scenarios, create the storyline and configure use cases that will serve as a template and repeatable asset during sales cycles.

Our current technical environment:

• Software: PL/SQL, MS Excel, Python.

What you’ll do:

• Designing and configuring the product demonstrations to meet the requirements of the prospect; coordinating and collaborating with the regional pre-sales team to design the demo scenarios, creating the storyline, preparing the presentations etc.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the internal product teams like Product Management and Product Development to get visibility of the product roadmap, provide feedback for future releases, time to market, positioning etc.
• Generates innovation to help in improving quality, cost, time, or value of demo delivery; focuses on reusability of each demo component and templatization.
• May be involved in product demonstrations on need basis.
• Learns and adapts to applicable technologies, products, and tools.
• Develops knowledge of industry-standard integrations.
• Demonstrates good understanding of supply chain domain and solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proactively reports all activities to the reporting managers.
• Independently perform all the tasks provided in day-to-day work.
• Able to handle deliverables with minimal direction.
• Perform various ad-hoc tasks to support the Sales department.
• Effectively communicate in a virtual working environment with team members across the globe and communicate effectively with team members in the local office.
• Develops and maintains strong working relationships with all functions of Blue Yonder to effectively drive the achievement of goals.

What we are looking for:

• BE/B.Tech or MBA from Tier 1 institutions having 2 to 4 yrs experience working in supply chain domain.
• Knowledge in Blue Yonder Transportation Management System (TMS) and products in the Transportation suite of solutions.
• Good communication and presentation skills; nice to have client-facing experience in the past.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders like the Regional Presales teams, Product Management, Product Development, Consulting
• Understands technical stuff like high-level architecture, Database structures, SQL queries, and APIs.
• Knowledge of Python is nice to have.
