Influence strategy and growth in a leading Health Technology company. As a Business Analyst in the Strategy team, you will directly support, and influence key decisions made at the highest level of the Philips organization. The Strategy team works with Philips businesses, market organizations and functional teams, supplying them with deep business insights, actionable strategic direction and thought leadership. Assist in deep-dive strategy projects, collect market insights, and contribute to actionable strategy recommendations. The role is part of a global Strategy team, a talent pool for future Philips leaders.
Must Have
- Minimum 6 to 12 months’ working experience in Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, or Strategy roles.
- Excellent academic track record in Masters (Msc.) in Business Administration, Economics, Medical/Healthcare, Science and Engineering.
- Genuine interest in strategy and execution.
- Highly analytical mindset and strong professional drive.
- Strong and open-minded team player.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English (minimum C1 level).

In this role, you will Influence strategy and growth in a leading Health Technology company. As a Business Analyst in the Strategy team, you will directly support, and influence key decisions made at the highest level of the Philips organization. The Strategy team works with Philips businesses, market organizations and functional teams, supplying them with deep business insights, actionable strategic direction and thought leadership.
You will be part of the Strategy team, structured around 2 global hubs located in Amsterdam and Boston. The team consists of top-level strategists with wide-ranging backgrounds, nationalities, and competencies. The Strategy team is a talent pool for future Philips leaders.
Your role:
- Assisting in deep-dive strategy projects (topics including market sizing, customer trend analysis, internal capability analysis, growth strategy, Go-to-market strategy, acquisition target evaluation etc.)
- Collecting market insights via desk top research, prepare customer survey and analyze results, support customer / industry expert interviews, document takeaways from key stakeholder meetings, support in strategy report compilation
- Assisting in ensuring an end-to-end connection between businesses, markets, functions, strategists and execution teams (M&A, Alliances, etc.)
- Contributing to the formulation and communication of actionable strategy recommendations
- Supporting in non-project related activities that make the team high performing
Projects range from global projects at group level to high-impact strategic questions within specific markets. A typical project could be as broad as the evaluation of Philips’ global footprint in terms of value creation opportunities, the creation of a market entry strategy for medical devices in the US, the identification and mapping of growth opportunities in the global Informatics market or a deep dive into the requirements to thrive in the Chinese market for Philips’ businesses.
You're the right fit if:
- Minimum 6 (to 12) months’ working experience (internship or full-time) in either Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, or in Strategy roles within a top-tier international company
- An excellent academic track record in Masters (Msc.) in Business Administration, Economics, Medical/Healthcare, Science and Engineering
- A genuine interest in strategy and execution
- Highly analytical mindset and a strong professional drive
- Strong and open-minded team player who can work with various nationalities and cultures
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and affinity with applications and tooling
- Fluency in written and spoken English (minimum C1 level)
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role.
