Job Summary
The Sales Trainee (ST) supports sales initiatives and provides route coverage for colleagues during absences or special projects. This role involves maintaining customer relationships between sales, merchandising, and operations for all large & small format 'off premise' stores. The primary responsibility is to effectively service customers to Red Bull executional standards, managing products, determining needs, building relationships, protecting the brand through proper rotation, and ensuring equipment is in good working order. The ST will also train with senior Account Sales Managers, cover their routes, evaluate competitor activities, and meet monthly KPIs in sales, distribution, pricing, display, and new accounts.
Must Have

- Build and protect the Red Bull brand through proper rotation to ensure fresh product and proper brand flow.
- Ensure all Red Bull equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Train with senior Account Sales Managers on their routes.
- Cover Account Sales Managers’ routes when needed.
- Evaluate competitors’ activities (new launches, price reductions) and communicate with District Sales Manager.
- Meet monthly key performance indicators (KPI‘s) focused on sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandising.
- Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Frequently walk and sit.
- Occasionally stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Possess specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Fluent in English.
- Current driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
Good to Have
- Prior sales experience, especially in consumer packaged goods or retail organization.
- Knowledge of the beverage market.
- Additional language skills.
- University or college experience.

EXECUTION
Train with senior Account Sales Managers on their routes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications
Preferred prior sales experience; having worked in consumer packaged goods or retail organization is considered an asset.
Knowledge of the beverage market preferred.
Additional language skills an advantage.
High school diploma or equivalent (university or college experience is an asset).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Outstanding relationship building and people skills.
Good mathematical skills.
Organizational skills.
Current driver’s license with clean driving record.

Additional Information
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $47,500 to $52,500. The actual base salary for this position will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and work location. This position is also eligible for monthly commission, in accordance with the terms of Red Bull’s bonus plan.
