Must Have

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English

Job Description

  • Continuously offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
  • Assist guests with menu composition in an informative and helpful manner
  • Comply with point-of-sale policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Have perfect knowledge of the beverage menu and promotions
  • Have perfect knowledge of all menu dishes, their garnish, content, and preparation method
  • Serve and provide food and beverage products and services to all our guests according to the standards and procedures to be followed in the assigned section
  • Set up, dismantle, and clean premises before, during, and after service
  • Assist in the cleanliness, maintenance, and professional image of the hotel
  • Welcome and take care of guests
  • Follow Fairmont Hotels standards and rules
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training programs
  • Be prepared to work in several departments such as the restaurant, bar, reception, room service, lounge, as well as banquets and catering service
  • All other related tasks

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, to easily understand and discuss with an international clientele on a regular basis;
  • Be available to work split shifts and have shift flexibility at all times;
  • 6 months of experience in catering or banquets will be considered an asset;
  • A current course in hospitality or catering;
  • Responsible and reliable, trustworthy;
  • The candidate must have excellent communication skills;
  • Able to work in a team.
