Job Description

TelevisaUnivision Local Media Houston is seeking a motivated Account Executive to join their local sales team. This outside sales position involves selling to new clients and servicing established accounts. The role requires strong presentation and time management skills, with a focus on successful new business generation. Responsibilities include developing client relationships, creating pitches, attending client meetings, and managing an active list of accounts.
Must Have:
  • Develop strong executive level client and agency relationships
  • Sell TelevisaUnivision’s various platforms
  • Develop client-specific pitches, attend client meetings, make presentations and close sales
  • Handle an active list and maintain and grow existing and new accounts
  • Prospect, negotiate, and generate new leads
  • Work in partnership with support team on pre-sale/post-sale processes
  • Proven track record of success in media sales at agencies and on client side
  • Solid understanding of the digital landscape
  • A strong desire to win and grow as a digital ad sales professional
  • Multimarket digital sales experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, Matrix, and Wide Orbit Traffic
  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or marketing or previous advertising/media sales experience
  • Willingness to work in office and virtually in Houston, TX
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • Good driving record and a valid driver’s license

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Develop strong executive level client and agency relationships and sell TelevisaUnivision’s various platforms
  • Develop client-specific pitches, attend client meetings, make presentations and close sales
  • Handle an active list and maintain and grow existing and new accounts
  • Prospect, negotiate, and generate new leads, as well as qualify leads generated by support functions
  • Attend promotional events and other client networking events
  • Work in partnership with support team on pre-sale/post-sale processes

YOU HAVE:

  • Proven track record of success in media sales at agencies and on client side
  • Solid understanding of the digital landscape.
  • A strong desire to win and grow as a digital ad sales professional and thrive in a team environment.
  • Multimarket digital sales experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Matrix, and Wide Orbit Traffic
  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or marketing or previous advertising/media sales experience
  • Must be willing to work in office & virtually in Houston, TX
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
  • Must possess a good driving record and a valid driver’s license
