Job Summary
As an Account Executive at Zuora Japan, you will drive digital transformation for leading enterprises by expanding Zuora’s presence and modernizing monetization strategies through subscription-based business models. This role involves building trusted executive relationships, managing complex sales cycles, and achieving revenue targets using Zuora’s platform. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver tailored business outcomes and act as a trusted advisor in the rapidly accelerating subscription economy in Japan.
Must Have
- Drive new revenue growth within enterprise accounts through strategic engagement and value-based selling
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with key customer executives to support their subscription business transformation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
- Achieve quarterly and annual targets by managing complex sales cycles
- Maintain accurate forecasting in Salesforce and Clari
- Represent Zuora as a trusted advisor in the subscription economy
- Proven experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong ability to manage complex sales cycles, build trust with C-level executives, and deliver strategic value-based solutions
- Deep understanding of subscription-based business models and digital transformation initiatives across industries
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Japanese and English
- Experience using Salesforce, Clari, or similar CRM and forecasting tools
Good to Have
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization, collaborating across multiple regions and functions
- Familiarity with Zuora’s product suite or related areas such as billing, ERP, or revenue management
- A consultative mindset with the ability to translate business challenges into actionable technology solutions
- Experience selling to industries undergoing digital transformation (e.g., manufacturing, media, or telecommunications)

At Zuora Japan, our Sales team partners with leading enterprises to drive digital transformation through subscription-based business models. We work closely with customers to help them modernize their monetization strategies and optimize revenue through Zuora’s industry-leading subscription management platform.

Work Arrangement
This role is based in Tokyo, Japan. We support a hybrid work environment, with flexibility for in-office collaboration and remote work depending on business needs.
What You’ll Do

Your Experience
- Proven experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
