Nowadays, we're on the hunt for a dynamic and detail oriented Accountant!

Position Overview:

As our latest addition in our Finance team, you'll play an important role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly - maintaining ledgers, supporting the month-end process, and ensuring accurate records across our entities. Working closely with internal teams, you'll also assist with audits and contribute to projects that improve efficiency and support business goals. From journal entries to process improvements, your work will help ensure our finance function stays reliable and well-organised.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the financial and general ledgers of all group entities - prepare and post journal entries, perform accounts analysis and ensure business transactions are recorded accurately.
• Support the Senior Accountant and wider accounting team with day‑to‑day tasks as needed.
• Actively participate in the month‑end closing process - coordinate tasks, meet deadlines and ensure completeness.
• Build strong internal partnerships - liaise with other departments so relevant information is captured and maintained for reporting purposes.
• Perform period‑end reconciliations (balance sheet, income statement) for all group entities.
• Assist with key improvement projects - identify, plan and implement initiatives to boost quality, cut cost and streamline processes.
• Support the statutory audit and the preparation of financial statements - liaise with external auditors as required.
• Approve and post supplier invoices - ensure correct ledger accounts, reporting dimensions and adherence to authorisation procedures.

Requirements:

• You hold - or are actively working towards obtaining - an ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to take initiative independently while also working as part of a team.
• You bring strong attention to detail, a sense of ownership and a desire to contribute to continuous improvement.
• You’re comfortable working in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines confidently.
