Job Summary
As an Accounting Representative at Tamatem, you will support the Finance team in all day-to-day transactions, contributing to accurate results in monthly and yearly reports, and assisting with HR-related financial tasks. This role involves maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable, performing bank reconciliations, and handling daily transaction records. Additionally, you will be responsible for sales tax endorsement and various HR-related financial duties like social security and income tax calculations for employees.
Must Have
- Maintain general ledger, including preparing journal entries, reconciliation, and closing books monthly.
- Prepare reports on accounting payables and receivables, record fixed assets, and calculate and record depreciation monthly.
- Perform accounts payable duties, such as preparing payments and arranging settlements.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation. Update the bank account balance report daily and ensure sufficient funds are in the account.
- Register/book all incoming and outgoing transactions.
- Record daily sales and issue invoices/cash receipts.
- Prepare Sales Tax Endorsement.
- Manage employees’ social security registration and contributions.
- Handle employees' income tax calculations and submissions.
- Prepare employment letters, salary certificates, and other HR-related financial documents.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 0-2 years of experience.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on business requirements.
- Ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English languages.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of online banking systems.
