Job Details

Main Tasks

1. Development area, business overview, and role/position within R&D of the affiliated organization

We are responsible for the software development of ProPILOT 2.0, which enables hands-off driving from highway entrance to exit in the same lane, as well as 360° Safety Assist (various driving support functions) such as Intelligent Emergency Braking, Around View Monitor, and Distance Control Assistant.

2. Specific job content and expected role/position within and outside your department

In the initial development phase, we will discuss ADAS specifications for each vehicle and market with the product planning team and project management team to determine the ADAS specifications to be installed in the vehicle. After receiving the specifications from the function design team and finalizing the ADAS specifications, we will proceed with ADAS software development, divided into:

1. ADAS software design

2. ADAS software verification

3. ADAS software development project management

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Formulating software development plans
  • Determining non-functional requirements specifications such as communication specifications and diagnostics between sensors and multiple control units
  • Building a development environment for efficient software development
  • Verification (HILS) to confirm that the software is incorporated as designed
  • Building a verification environment and creating verification scenarios for software verification

3. Workplace environment and working style (member composition and workplace atmosphere)

You will carry out all or part of these tasks under the guidance of your supervisor and seniors, sharing development responsibilities with group members.

Selling point of this position

Public interest in ADAS technology is growing daily, and the effects of driving support and autonomous driving technology are diverse, including alleviating traffic congestion, reducing environmental impact, and improving safety, making them indispensable for realizing a better car society. Would you like to develop cars that lead the future of autonomous driving with us? You will have many opportunities to touch vehicles under development for experiments and evaluations, not just design and simulation, allowing you to truly feel that you are "creating the future." Furthermore, our development partners are global, offering opportunities to work overseas.
