This role involves software implementation development for vehicle integrated ECUs for chassis control systems, based on specifications from advanced/system development teams. Key responsibilities include developing software for mass production ECUs, designing chassis control architecture for SDV/FoD, and defining Vehicle APIs. The position focuses on in-house development of competitive chassis control systems like e-4ORCE and Intelligent Trace Control, aiming to create a software platform for "smartphone-like" cars with SDV.

Job Details

Main task

1. Development area, business overview, and role/position within R&D of the affiliated organization

  • Software implementation development for vehicle integrated ECUs for chassis control systems.
  • Develop software for mass production ECUs based on specifications from advanced/system development teams.
  • Development of chassis control architecture to realize SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) / FoD (Feature On Demand).
  • Design of function placement and physical placement of chassis control systems.
  • Design of Vehicle API (Application Programming Interface).

We are developing chassis control systems such as e-4ORCE, Intelligent Trace Control, e-Pedal Step, and Auto Brake Hold, and are conducting in-house development to bring competitive chassis control systems to market in a timely manner. We are developing a chassis control system software platform to realize "smartphone-like" cars with SDV.

2. Specific job content and expected role/position within and outside your department

Responsible for designing and developing mass production software based on system requirements. This includes general software development tasks such as safety mechanism integration, requirements analysis, architecture design, module design, implementation, and testing, as well as software version control and release management using CI/CD.

The department consists of a team of about 5 members, who work in cooperation with other teams within the department and related departments to carry out development work.

Skills and Experience Required

MUST

  • Has at least 2 years of development experience in one of the following:
  • IoT software
  • In-vehicle software
  • In-vehicle electronic systems/components
  • TOEIC: 600
  • Automotive industry experience: Preferred

WANT

  • Work experience in the automotive industry
  • In-vehicle ECU design experience
  • Model-based development (MBD) experience with Matlab/Simulink
  • Agile development, CI/CD environment setup/operation experience
  • Embedded software architecture design experience utilizing multi-core
  • In-vehicle software platform software development experience (AUTOSAR, QNX, etc.)
  • TOEIC: 730

Annual Income Range: Monthly Salary (Reference Value)

230,000 JPY to 439,000 JPY

  • Determined comprehensively based on experience and expertise.

Estimated Annual Income (Reference Value)

Approximately 4.1 million JPY to 7.6 million JPY

  • Monthly salary x 12 months + Bonus (estimated value)
  • Bonus amount is a reference value; actual payment timing, amount, and payment conditions will be determined separately.
  • Overtime pay, etc., will be paid separately based on employee wage regulations.
