Job Description

We are seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join our newly created sub-practice, dedicated to serving a mature and impactful long-term client in the financial services industry. This role requires a balance of independent work and teamwork, focusing on advancing the client's agenda. The ideal candidate will be client and business facing, possess some understanding of the financial services sector, coupled with a proven track record of independent work, and team collaboration. Good To Have:
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
  • Alteryx certifications (Designer Core, Advanced).
  • Familiarity with API integration best practices (REST, SOAP).
  • Exposure to BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Experience with data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
  • Background in financial services or related regulatory data environments.
  • Experience with data quality frameworks or tools like Great Expectations or Monte Carlo.
Must Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in data integration, ETL development, and data pipeline architecture.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and Server, including development, scheduling, and orchestration of complex workflows.
  • Strong experience with AWS-native data tools, including AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, and Redshift.
  • Proven experience designing, integrating, and optimizing data pipelines across cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong experience working with RDBMS systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Experience integrating structured and semi-structured data from APIs, flat files, and SaaS sources.
  • Ability to design scalable, reusable, and secure integration solutions using cloud-native tools or hybrid architectures.
  • Experience collaborating with business users to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience building and deploying data pipelines in cloud environments using tools such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda.
  • Familiarity with data lake and data warehouse concepts (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices including CI/CD for data workflows using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Understanding of IAM, S3, Secrets Manager, Cloud Storage Buckets, and other data security best practices in the cloud.

The base salary range is - $165,000-$185,000

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role and level.

Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.

Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.
