Job Description

This internship involves supporting the Americas Life Cycle Management roadmap through forecast analysis and demand review, maintaining the supply chain KPI Dashboard, and performing deviation and root cause analysis. The intern will also create training documentation for key business processes, conduct ad hoc analysis for supply chain initiatives, and collaborate with subsidiary managers to improve operational activities. A project will also be assigned based on skills and bandwidth. The role requires a student enrolled in a degree program, at sophomore level or later, with a minimum 3.0 GPA, and a business major. It is a part-time, hybrid role for 6 months, requiring 20 hours per week and at least one onsite day.

Must Have:
  • Support the Americas Life Cycle Management roadmap through dedicated forecast analysis and demand review sessions with local teams
  • Maintain our supply chain KPI Dashboard (scrap, forecast accuracy, OTIF, costs, days on hand)
  • Perform deviation and root cause analysis on main KPIs
  • Create training documentation for key Supply Chain business processes
  • Perform Ad Hoc analysis and data extracts to support global and/or local Supply Chain initiatives
  • Work with subsidiary supply chain managers and demand planners to identify and improve operational activities
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program at a recognized institution of higher learning
  • Reached Sophomore level status or later in school
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA or above
  • Business major required
  • Must be Microsoft Office proficient
  • Work 20 hours each week
  • Come onsite at least once each week
  • At least 18 years of age (if internship includes access to manufacturing areas)

Responsibilities:

This role will have some routine activities to reoccur over time, which may include:

  • Support the Americas Life Cycle Management roadmap through dedicated forecast analysis and demand review sessions with local teams
  • Maintaining our supply chain KPI Dashboard (scrap, forecast accuracy, OTIF, costs, days on hand)
  • Deviation and root cause analysis on main KPIs
  • Creating training documentation for key Supply Chain business processes
  • Ad Hoc analysis and data extracts to support global and/or local Supply Chain initiatives
  • Working with subsidiary supply chain managers and demand planners to identify and improve operational activities

Projects:

  • In addition to the above routine activities, a project(s) can be assigned to the intern which will vary depending on his or her specific skill sets, desires and bandwidth.

Studies and Experience:

Program requirements: Students currently enrolled in a degree program at a recognized institution of higher learning, have reached Sophomore level status or later in school, and have a minimum of 3.0 GPA or above. It is recommended that each internship last a minimum of 8 weeks.

Business major required, supply chain major preferred

If the internship will include access to the manufacturing areas of the company, the student must be at least 18 years of age.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Spanish or French speaking is not required but considered a plus.
  • Must be Microsoft Office proficient.
  • SAP ECC or SAP APO DP knowledge is a plus.
