Job Summary

This part-time, remote position focuses on building and engaging the Animal Company community. Responsibilities include managing the Discord server (responding to players, organizing events, announcing updates, resolving support tickets), creating engaging gameplay videos for social media, and curating/promoting user-generated content by fostering relationships with content creators. Weekly reporting on community feedback and creator pipeline is required. The ideal candidate will be passionate about gaming, possess strong Discord management skills, and have experience with graphic design and video editing tailored to Gen Z and Gen Alpha trends. VR playtesting is a significant aspect of the role.

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Join Our Team at Animal Company! Animal Company is one of the most popular games on Meta Quest with over 1M active users and zero marketing spent. Our game offers a unique mix of spooky adventure and social chaos that captivates a young audience between 10-20 years old in VR.

Key Responsibilities:

Build a thriving community on Discord by responding to players, organizing events, announcing new content releases, and resolving support tickets.
Create engaging gameplay videos for our social channels.
Curate, review, and promote community-created content by building strong relationships with our content creators
You’ll report weekly on community feedback and creator pipeline

Preferred Time Zones: EST and PST

This is a part-time or contractor opportunity

Skills

You’re an expert at Discord
Experience in graphic design and video editing skills that tuned into Gen Z and Gen Alpha cultural trends
Passionate about gaming – You will be playtesting in VR a lot to capture content
Organization skill is a huge bonus to work effectively with various stakeholders: developers, players, and content creators to develop promotional content for the game.
