Job Description

This role involves comprehensive responsibility for the maintenance, debugging, and optimization of SPI, AOI, Laser, and X-ray equipment in a production environment. Key duties include troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, writing and refining detection programs to enhance yield, and addressing production anomalies like false positives. The technician will also support production line changeovers, perform scanner debugging, and analyze defective products for improvement, ensuring high quality and efficiency.
Good To Have:
  • Electronics or electrical major
  • Familiarity with ASYS laser
  • Familiarity with OMRON 5D X-ray
Must Have:
  • Maintain, debug, and troubleshoot SPI/AOI/Laser/X-ray equipment
  • Write and optimize SPI/AOI detection programs
  • Respond to and resolve production anomalies (false positives, missed detections)
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance
  • Support production line changeovers and scanner debugging
  • Analyze and improve defective products
  • Familiar with AOI equipment testing principles
  • 2+ years of SMT SPI/AOI testing experience
  • Familiar with SMT PCBA production process and electronic components
  • Understand basic operations of X-ray, labeling, and laser engraving machines
  • Proficient in Omron AOI, KohYoung SPI&AOI
  • Familiar with IPC 610 electronic product acceptance standards
  • Proficient in Office software
  • Ability to adapt to shift work

Your Role

In your daily job you will:

  • Equipment maintenance and debugging: Responsible for daily maintenance, debugging, and troubleshooting of SPI/AOI/Laser/X-ray equipment to ensure normal operation.
  • Program writing and debugging: Write and optimize SPI/AOI detection programs to improve first-pass yield and detection rate.
  • On-site production equipment anomaly handling: Quickly respond to production anomalies (such as false positives, missed detections, etc.), analyze causes, and implement corrective measures.
  • SPI, AOI, WS/SWS AOI, X-ray false positive debugging, program optimization, FTQ, FPY target achievement.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance.
  • Production line changeover support.
  • Scanner debugging (SPI mounter AOI WS/SWS).
  • Defective product traceability analysis and improvement.

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

  • Technical secondary school or high school education or above, electronics and electrical majors preferred.
  • Familiar with AOI equipment testing principles, with 2 years or more of SMT SPI/AOI related testing experience.
  • Familiar with SMT PCBA production process and electronic components.
  • Understand basic operations of X-ray, labeling machine, and laser engraving machine.
  • Proficient in using Omron AOI, KohYoung SPI&AOI.
  • Familiarity with ASYS laser, OMRON 5D X-ray is preferred.
  • Familiar with IPC 610 electronic product acceptance standards, proficient in using Office software.
  • Has teamwork spirit, good communication and coordination skills, strong stress resistance, strong sense of responsibility.
  • Adapt to shift work.
