Job Description

Aptiv is a global technology company focused on safer, greener, and more connected mobility solutions. The AOI Technician will be responsible for programming and debugging laser, SPI, AOI, and Coating AOI equipment, handling production site equipment anomalies, and optimizing SPI, AOI, WS/SWS AOI, and X-ray programs to achieve FTQ and FPY targets. This role also involves daily equipment maintenance, production line change support, Scanner debugging, defect analysis, and providing technical support to various departments.
Good To Have:
  • Familiarity with ASYS laser
  • Familiarity with OMRON 5D X-ray
Must Have:
  • At least 3 years of AOI SPI work experience
  • Familiarity with SMT PCBA production process and electronic components
  • Strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, and good communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in OMRON AOI, KohYoung SPI & AOI

Your Role

In your daily job you will:

1. Write and debug laser, SPI, AOI, Coating AOI programs.

2. Handle equipment anomalies at the production site.

3. Debug false judgments from SPI, AOI, WS/SWS AOI, X-ray.

4. Optimize SPI AOI WS/SWS AOI, X-ray programs, and achieve FTQ, FPY targets.

5. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance.

6. Support production line changeovers.

7. Debug Scanners (before SPI mounter AOI WS/SWS).

8. Analyze and improve defect traceability.

9. Provide technical support to production and other departments.

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

1. Technical secondary school or high school education, at least 3 years of AOI SPI work experience.

2. Familiarity with SMT PCBA production processes and electronic components.

3. Strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, and good communication and coordination skills.

4. Proficiency in OMRON AOI, KohYoung SPI&AOI; familiarity with ASYS laser, OMRON 5D X-ray is preferred.
