Electrical Engineering Intern - 6-month Internship

Job Summary
This 6-month internship at Gevernova involves two phases. Initially, the intern will discover the team and project processes, then develop and improve tools for optimizing engineering time, including creating and updating templates for digital protection relays and test plans. In the second phase, the intern will work with a system engineer on factory integration and validation tasks for a substation's digital control-command and protection system, including platform installation, validation, and configuration of digital protections for various projects.
Must Have
- Student preparing a Master 2 / engineering cycle in electrical engineering

Role and missions:
- 1st phase (≈ 2.5 months)
- Discovery of the team and project execution process
- Development and improvement of tools to optimize engineering time on projects:
- Creation and updating of parameter file templates for digital protection relays
- Creation and updating of test plan templates (OCC) to be used with an injection box (current and voltage)
- 2nd phase (≈3.5 months)
- Involvement in tandem with a system engineer on integration and factory validation tasks on a project (participation in the complete integration and validation of a substation to understand the different components of a digital control-command and protection system).
- Participation in the installation of project platforms (PCs, protections, calculators)
- Participation in the validation of digital protections for one or more projects
- Participation in the configuration of digital protections for one or more projects
