Job Summary
The Operation Support A - Electrician will install, repair, and maintain all electrical and Facilities mechanical systems and equipment. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, maintaining components like motors and control systems, and performing new installations. The Electrician will work with schematics, diagnose malfunctions, and contribute to EHS and process improvement initiatives using Lean and 6 Sigma tools to enhance quality and product flow.
Must Have
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and building electrical systems.
- Maintain and repair electrical components such as motors, transformers, switch gear, rectifiers, control systems, fire alarms, motor control centers.
- Run conduit, replace fuses, make new electrical gear installations, troubleshoot circuitry.
- Work with schematics and wiring diagrams, order material.
- Make comprehensive inspection using a variety of inspection instruments and gauges to detect malfunctions.
- Analyze and diagnose cause of malfunctions, failures, and repetitive manufacturing problems.
- Analyze malfunctions and execute the repair of control systems and install, maintain, or modify such systems.
- Perform facilities and equipment maintenance, as needed.
- Plan, layout, rig, move, erect, and install complex equipment and machinery, overhead cranes.
- Participate in and own Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to improve quality and product flow.
- Participate in lean initiatives, using 6 Sigma tools for process improvements.
- Identify and implement Kaizens for continuous improvement.
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline OR Military A or C School in a related discipline OR Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program with a Journeyman’s card.

- Troubleshoot & repair equipment and building electrical systems. Maintain and repair electrical components such as motors, transformers, switch gear, rectifiers, control systems, fire alarms, motor control centers, and shop machinery power feeds.
- Run conduit, replace fuses, make new electrical gear installations, troubleshoot circuitry.
- Perform office electrical maintenance, light trimming, & new installations.
- Work with schematics and wiring diagrams, order material.
- Make comprehensive inspection using a variety of inspection instruments and gauges to detect malfunctions
- Analyze and diagnose cause of malfunctions, failures, and repetitive manufacturing problems and recommend and implement proper corrective actions
- Analyze malfunctions and execute the repair of control systems and install, maintain, or modify such systems
- Perform facilities and equipment maintenance, as needed
- Plan, layout, rig, move, erect, and install complex equipment and machinery, overhead cranes, etc.
- Keep work areas and equipment clean and operating safely

The hourly base pay range for this position is $34.68 to $42.89. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for contractually negotiated general wage increases and COLA increases.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
