Job Summary

Luxoft is seeking an Application Support Engineer for a leading Asian bank's newly established technology center in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves providing L2 production support for REM & ROS payment applications, monitoring performance, managing daily operations, and performing incident analysis and troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include handling SFTP, MQ, Direct Connect configurations, using Aldon for version control, and supporting various SWIFT and local payment transactions. The engineer will also coordinate with infrastructure and business teams and ensure ITIL compliance.

Must Have

Provide L2 production support for REM & ROS payment applications
Monitor application performance and manage daily operations
Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and RCA documentation
Handle SFTP, MQ, Direct Connect configurations and connectivity
Use Aldon for version control & deployment on AS400
Support SWIFT & local payment transactions (FAST, PayNow, GIRO, RTGS, DD, CO)
Coordinate with infrastructure and business teams for issue resolution
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem Management)

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.

You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
