Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer at Telstra, you will collaborate with your team to design, build, and deliver innovative software applications and products, contributing to a world-class software organization. This role focuses on Oracle Retail Inventory Management, requiring deep expertise in Oracle Retail modules and a strong understanding of inventory management principles. You will work closely with technical leads and other stakeholders, building prototypes, evaluating tech stacks, and providing strong recommendations to enhance inventory management solutions and propel overall productivity.
Must Have
- Provide technical and functional support for Oracle Retail IMS, ReIM, RPM, and ReSA modules.
- Manage and maintain Oracle HTTP Server and WebLogic configurations.
- Work closely with business and IT teams to implement and enhance inventory management solutions.
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across inventory systems and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory processes with supply chain and retail operations.
- Stay updated on retail industry trends and recommend improvements based on best practices.
- 10+ years of hands-on development experience with Oracle Retail.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Retail modules: IMS, ReIM, RPM, and ReSA.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle HTTP Server and WebLogic.
- Proven experience with Oracle Retail Inventory Management System (IMS) or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and operational best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques; analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.

What You’ll Do

To be successful in this role you will have experience with the following:
