Job Description

This Area Manager role involves overseeing a team of Leads, Movers, and Drivers at the Moonachie, NJ location. Key responsibilities include leading inbound and outbound transfer operations, coaching and developing team members, implementing and refining processes, managing labor and shift planning, collaborating with customer experience, analyzing data for process optimization, and planning quarterly auctions. The role also involves conducting interviews for hiring. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience and at least 2 years in operations leadership.
Must have:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional work experience
  • At least 2 years excelling in operations leadership
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Flexibility with hours and shifts considering our cyclical business
  • Providing frequent and direct feedback
  • Able to navigate computers and smartphone apps with finesse

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a self driven and high-performing Area Manager to oversee a team of Leads, Movers, and Drivers at our location.

  • Type: Full Time
  • Annual salary and may be eligible for a merit bonus
  • Schedule: operates 7 days a week. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
