Job Description

The Assembly Production Group Leader supervises the production process of their assigned cell (approx. 40 people), ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Key responsibilities include fulfilling daily production plans, overseeing schedules, coordinating with other departments, evaluating employee performance, and collaborating on production objectives. The role focuses on meeting targets for Safety, People, Quality, Volume, and Cost, and involves continuous improvement to optimize operations and analyze production data.
Must have:
  • Fulfillment of the daily production plan.
  • Supervise daily production operations to ensure efficient production.
  • Oversee production schedules and adjust them as needed to meet customer demand.
  • Communicate with other departments and teams to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and apply corrective measures when necessary.
  • Collaborate with management to set production objectives and establish goals for the production team.
  • Comply with the overtime budget.
  • Meet quality targets for plant complaints, FTQ, and CoPQ.
  • Development of personnel under supervision.
  • Monitor and execute safety, people, quality, and defined operation systems.
  • Continuous improvement to achieve results and optimize operations.
  • Analyze production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and apply strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data to understand the performance of the team and its machinery.
  • OEE Calculation, DLE Calculation, Productivity Calculation
  • Flexibility / Adaptability (ability to adapt quickly to changes, multitask, and work effectively in a team)
  • Communication (able to listen, observe, understand, and effectively connect ideas)
  • Problem Solving (evaluate and resolve situations, deciding on the most appropriate solution)

  • Basic SAP management, proficiency in MS Office

Job Details

The Assembly Production Group Leader plays a key role, as they are responsible for supervising the production process of their assigned cell (an average of 40 people under their charge) and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting the objectives of Safety, People, Quality, Volume, and Cost. This position requires a combination of technical and leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage employees and achieve production goals.

My Role:
