Must have:
  • Review and process accounting entries
  • Assist in the processing of accounts payable, including coding invoices and setting up vendors/contributors
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly
  • Support the month-end closing process, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and account reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the business
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Contribute to the improvement of accounting systems and processes
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable

Day to day you will:

  • Review and process accounting entries

  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly
  • Support the month-end closing process, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and account reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the business
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Contribute to the improvement of accounting systems and processes
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable
  • Proven experience in a financial accounting or assistant accounting role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to spot discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
