The Assistant Manager – Employee Services position at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a key leadership role within the Employee Services team. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Employee Services, you will lead the HR service delivery team in resolving employee queries related to HR processes and policies, ensuring timely and high-quality responses that enhance the employee experience. You will be responsible for the delivery of employee lifecycle processes and Workday transactions handled by both onshore and offshore teams. The role also involves coaching the team, driving process improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure flawless HR operations.
Must have:
  • Lead and support the HR service delivery team in resolving HR queries within SLA.
  • Ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs, quality & compliance standards.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high team performance.
  • Maintain and update process documentation; ensure team adherence to updated procedures.
  • Provide hands-on support during resource gaps.
  • Coach and train the team on process and policy changes and BAU activities.
  • Lead global projects, influence decisions and work collaboratively with other PSS teams.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of HR processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to simplify and automate HR processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and use KPIs to measure and improve efficiency.
  • Oversee employee query resolution, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with People Operations and other stakeholders to streamline processes.
  • Initiate and contribute to process enhancements and harmonization projects.
  • Cultivate positive team culture focused on business excellence.
  • Ensure timely completion of local compliance surveys and audit requests.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in people operations, employee services, or a related domain.
  • Proven experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar HR systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on improving employee experience.
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrixed global environments.
  • Self-motivated with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate in UK Hours.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Employee Services, you will lead the HR service delivery team in resolving employee queries related to HR processes and policies, ensuring timely and high-quality responses that enhance the employee experience. You will be responsible for the delivery of employee lifecycle processes and Workday transactions handled by both onshore and offshore teams. The role also involves coaching the team, driving process improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure flawless HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the HR service delivery team in resolving HR queries within SLA, ensuring quality and consistency based on ServiceNow/Workday data
  • Data analysis based advisory to supervise and assess team/process/business performance
  • Be a process expert to advise and guide stakeholders on HR services, policies, and procedures, resolving queries effectively.
  • Ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs, no impact on employee’s pay and quality & compliance standards.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high team performance by regular connects
  • Maintain and update process documentation; ensure team adherence to updated procedures.
  • Provide hands-on support during resource gaps using events calendar and ensure end-to-end process knowledge.
  • Coach and train the team on process and policy changes and BAU activities; provide continuous feedback to improve performance.
  • Develop and implement training programs focused on HR processes and query resolution.
  • Ability to lead global project, influence decisions and work collaboratively with other PSS teams
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and alignment with business needs. Presentation skills is expected to be able to communicate effectively.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to simplify and automate HR processes, enhancing service delivery and employee experience.
  • Conduct regular audits and use KPIs to measure and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the function.
  • Oversee employee query resolution, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms to gather insights and enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate with People Operations and other stakeholders to streamline processes and drive service excellence.
  • Initiate and Give to process enhancements and harmonization projects across the function.
  • Cultivate positive team culture focused on business excellence
  • Ensure timely completion of local compliance surveys and audit requests.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in people operations, employee services, or a related domain.
  • Proven experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday.

Note- Candidate will be required to operate in UK Hours.
