**Account Executive – Data Solutions (SEDOL)**

Role Profile

The SEDOL Sales Team is global multifaceted and collaborative. We are looking for a highly motivated, upbeat, quota driven individual to join the team as a relationship manager. This role will be based in NYC.

SEDOL (Stock Exchange Daily Official List) Masterfile Service has been in operation for over 30 years and currently provides information on over 90 million securities, with a strong presence in equities, traded on worldwide Markets. SEDOL is a unique, country level, global security identifier, which increases processing efficiencies, streamlines manual processes, maps datasets together and communicates information between 3rd parties. SEDOLs are allocated to all countries covering all asset classes.

The SEDOL Sales and Licencing Team covers the licensing of the usage of SEDOL Masterfile data to end users, third party data and service providers and distributors. The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for handling a portfolio of clients and developing new business in the US.

**Key Responsibilities**

This role covers the following:

  • Developing and completing sales business plans to achieve or exceed individual sales targets.
  • Complete licence reviews for assigned accounts within a specific territory. Licence Reviews require planning detailed execution of work; review licence subject to contract, interviewing staff at all levels, evaluating information, and preparing working papers, settlement of any claims for unpaid data usage and production of reports for client signature according to the department procedures and standards.
  • Share knowledge and expertise during group training sessions; and for new starters by contributing to shadowing and mentoring.
  • Provides valuable customer insights to internal product and account teams.
  • Identifies a strategy and implementation plan to drive retention in their client base and communicates offering to wider team.
  • Build positive relationships with 3rd party vendors to drive reporting requirements using master industry and product knowledge.
  • This role involves occasional travel and spending periods away from NYC.

**Candidate Profile / Key Skills**

  • Degree level required, ideally a Finance based degree.
  • 5+ years Sales and/or data licencing experience.
  • Expert Level product and workflow expertise.
  • Sophisticated industry knowledge.
  • Strong Oral and written communication and experience C Suite executive.
  • Cultivates deep, executive-level customer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • Experience in conflict resolution.
  • Strategic problem solver, ambitious style, sense of drive and intensity.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $111,300 - $185,500.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
