Position Summary This role to support data integrity across applications and support the Master-Data lead in deployments across finance tools. SME across all finance systems and act as main contact for user training and helping finance users understand data flows, while handling metadata. To be successful in this role you will want to collaborate with Finance / IT & other functional teams. You will have a solid understanding of finance processes, systems and data mechanics, and will be able to talk confidently with various team members around these. What you'll be doing: * Providing assistance to the metadata lead on metadata management, governance and deployments across the Finance applications using such as Oracle Cloud ERP, HFM and EPM applications. * Providing mentorship on user access across finance data sets and applications * Providing training, as required to users and teams across finance and other key users of the Groups ERP with emphasis on understanding data flows. * Key conduct between finance and other cross functional teams, to making decisions on behalf of finance related to system outages, break fix, testing. This will not be technical in nature but a solid grasp of finance data and processes will be required. * Handling the Chart of Accounts Segments withing hLSEG and responsible for all the metadata changes. * Prepare hLSEG and hRefinitiv HC / FX rates reporting for the wider finance teams. * SME from Finance on all other IT related activity that requires finance input. * Supporting the head of master data lead on the ERPM programme activities. This will be substantial part of the role, while gaining a good understanding of future estate will be fundamental to the success of this role into the future. * Supporting future estate of metadata management tool Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS)will be key. You'll bring: * Demonstrate experience of 4 to 5 years in Finance and Systems is required. * A good understanding of financial data processes and systems is important * Successful candidate is likely to process a great learning attitude to learn the intricacies of finance data both in existing and future estates. * Good interpersonal skills will be required to support the training component of the role. * Knowledge in Oracle Cloud applications / Blackline / SAP / EPM and Hyperion Financial Management tools are essential and will act, as an added advantage * Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in financial processing and reporting * Solid grasp of the P&L and Balance Sheet records and reconciliation knowledge is welcomed. * Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and resolving issues proactively is vital. * Proven spreadsheet knowledge to Analyst and resolve disparities is required. * Confirmed ability to stay focused and deliver results during peak periods such as month-end and year-end closure.
