Job Summary
The Cinematics Associate Artist at NetherRealm Studios, part of Warner Bros. Games, supports the Cinematics team in finalizing cinematic sequences within Unreal Engine. Key responsibilities include operating scene rendering tools, managing render job requests, assisting with cinematic setup and implementation in Unreal Engine 5, troubleshooting content issues, and testing content on engine and console. This role requires a highly detail-oriented and organized individual with formal art education or equivalent experience, and familiarity with 3D packages like Maya, Motion Builder, or Unreal Engine.
Must Have

The Job
The Cinematics Associate Artist is responsible for supporting the Cinematics team members across any discipline in finalizing cinematic sequences in Unreal Engine.
The Daily
- Operate scene rendering tools, and wrangle render job requests across all art disciplines
- Assist in Cinematic setup and implementation across multiple features in Unreal Engine 5
- Help troubleshoot cinematic content issues
- Assist team members in testing content in engine and on console
The Essentials
- Highly detail oriented and organized
- Some amount of formal art education such as BFA\BS from accredited art or design school or equivalent level of experience required.
- Familiarity with at least one industry standard 3D package required (Maya, Motion Builder, Unreal Engine, etc.)
- Ability to take direction well
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to learn new tools quickly
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
The Nice to Haves
- Experience with Cinematography
- Experience with Motion Builder
- QA Experience

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $43,680.00 - $81,120.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
