Beghou Consulting helps life-sciences companies optimize commercial performance through data-driven strategy and analytics. As an Associate Consultant, you will collaborate with senior managers and partners to develop and succeed with projects, delivering quality results for clients and becoming leaders in sales and marketing analytics. The role involves data processing, generating insights, client engagement, and strategic solutions for salesforce optimization.
Must have:
  • Develop code to ingest, clean, and process life sciences client data.
  • Execute data processing tasks, troubleshoot errors, and ensure accuracy.
  • Identify key metrics to generate valuable insights for client reports.
  • Engage directly with clients, solving complex problems and delivering solutions.
  • Collaborate with your team on strategic solutions for salesforce optimization.
  • Take initiative to contribute to ad-hoc projects.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 0 to 3 years’ relevant professional experience.
  • Strong academic track record.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate active listening skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and adapt quickly.
Good to have:
  • Basic coding skills (SAS, SQL, Python, VBA).
  • Knowledge of data visualization software (Tableau or Power BI).

Ideal candidates for the Associate Consultant role demonstrate leadership potential, integrity, problem-solving skills, and the communication skills necessary to work with clients and people at all levels of our firm.

We'll Trust you to:

  • Develop code to ingest, clean, and process life sciences client data
  • Execute data processing tasks, troubleshooting errors and ensuring accuracy in both codes and final deliverables while meeting deadlines for clients
  • Identify key metrics to generate valuable insights for advanced client reports, including data visualizations in dashboards and presentations
  • Engage directly with clients, solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with your team to provide strategic solutions for salesforce sizing, territory alignment, and incentive compensation
  • Take initiative to contribute to ad-hoc projects, addressing unique client + internal team needs

You'll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 0 to 3 years’ relevant professional experience (candidates with a PhD may apply to our Consultant position). While we do not specify a list of majors, we seek candidates who demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative aptitude through coursework or other experience.
  • Strong academic track record
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Beghou, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 to $85,000.
