Job Description

Beghou Consulting, a trusted adviser to life science firms for over 30 years, seeks a Digital Marketing Analyst. This role supports marketing automation, email campaigns, customer journeys, websites, and other digital marketing initiatives. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital and omnichannel business development for new opportunities within existing and new client bases. The position requires expertise in GA4, Google Tag Manager, data taxonomy, HTML/CSS, and various digital marketing tactics to enhance commercial operations and boost sales performance.
Must have:
  • Support marketing automation, email campaigns, customer journeys, websites and other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital and omnichannel business development.
  • Expertise with GA4 platform setup, maintenance, analytics analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager for tag implementation, audit, creation, data layer events, testing, and debugging.
  • Create and implement data taxonomy governance best practices.
  • Document test plans related to analytics QA.
  • HTML/CSS coding including responsive design frameworks.
  • Aggregate different data sets to work within a CDP.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tactics and data sets (online media, CRM, mobile apps).
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM.
  • Familiarity with Campaign Automation systems (Adobe, SFMC).
  • Proficiency in understanding Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Content Management Systems.
  • Pull, aggregate, and analyze data for deep dive analyses and executive level reports.
  • Develop for projects with complex business requirements.
  • Build and deliver standardized and custom reports for business stakeholders.
  • Partner with other teams on measurement across site experiences.
  • Provide client support for issues or questions regarding digital analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with analytical thinking, mathematical concepts, and digital analytics methodologies.
  • Design, develop, and support web analytics instrumentation architecture.
  • Own all Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager environment and processes.
  • Evaluate and revise environment to improve stability, flexibility, scalability, and futureproofing.
  • Develop custom analytics JavaScript to create events and triggers in Google Tag Manager.
  • Understand cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of tagging environment by continually monitoring tags.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) including test plan design and system testing.
  • JavaScript coding.
  • Experience with Social Media Analytics.

Purpose of Job

This position requires a Digital Marketing Analyst/Specialist to support marketing automation, email campaigns, customer journeys, websites and other digital marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to Supports digital and omnichannel business development for new opportunities within existing and new client base.

We'll trust you to:

  • Expertise with GA4 (platform setup/maintenance, analytics analysis and reporting)
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager (tag implementation including tag audit, creation, data layer events, testing, and debugging)
  • Expertise in creating and implementing data taxonomy governance best practices
  • Test Plan Documentation – document test plans (related to analytics QA)
  • Knowledge of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) including test plan design and system testing a plus
  • HTML/CSS coding including responsive design frameworks - Must need / JavaScript a Plus
  • Be able to aggregate different data sets to work within a CDP
  • Proficiency in various digital marketing tactics and data sets, including online media (display, paid search, SEO), CRM, and mobile apps, along with hands-on experience in working with related data
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM
  • Familiarity with Campaign Automation systems (Adobe, SFMC)
  • Proficiency in understanding Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Content Management Systems (i.e. Veeva Promo Mats) and how to access and integrate content for downstream systems.
  • Experience with Social Media Analytics a plus
  • Ability to pull aggregate and analyze data for deep dive analyses and executive level reports that provide logical improvement recommendations and insightful strategic content.
  • Ability to develop for projects with complex business requirements

You'll need to have:

  • Build & deliver standardized and custom reports for business stakeholders.
  • Partner with other teams on measurement across site experiences.
  • Analytics Support – Provide client support for issues or questions regarding digital analytics solutions.
  • Familiar with analytical thinking, mathematical concepts and digital analytics methodologies
  • ARCHITECTURE & IMPLEMENTATION
  • Design, develop and support the web analytics instrumentation architecture - Own all Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager environment & processes.
  • Expertise in creating and implementing data taxonomy governance best practices
  • Consistently evaluate and revise environment where necessary to improve stability, flexibility, scalability, and futureproofing including debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing configuration issues.
  • Develop custom analytics JavaScript to create events and triggers in Google Tag Manager.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of tagging environment by continually monitoring tags, both manually and with automated tools.
  • Experience: 1- 5 years
