Job Description

Job Description

Work & Co, part of Accenture Song, is a global design and technology company with offices in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. We are known for bringing together the best minds in strategy, product, and technical talent in the industry to generate tangible impact on a large scale. Our clients include IKEA, Apple, Itaú, Gatorade, Google, Mercedes, Vivo, AB InBev, and others. As Fast Company highlighted, our engineering and design teams are often chosen to create digital products for companies that rarely turn to other firms. Forrester Research calls our approach "a model to follow."

We are looking for Associate Design Directors who see no limits between form and function — and who believe that the essence of a product should come more from how it works than from how it looks. For us, designers are, in practice, strategists who express strategy through design.

Creating digital products is teamwork. Our methodology values intense collaboration, early prototyping and testing, in addition to so many iterations that you will lose count. Associate Design Directors work side-by-side with Product Managers, Strategists, and Developers to create digital products and services that transform industries, while guiding other professionals on the Work & Co Design team. Our partners work directly on projects, without intermediate management. You will work directly with them.

Qualifications

What you will do in your daily life:

  • Focus 100% on creating exceptional digital products – that's what matters to us.
  • Work iteratively on initial concepts, prototypes, and detailed designs, always guided by user research, market trends and behavior, in addition to your best ideas.
  • Actively participate in all phases of the product — from strategy to launch and optimization (this role goes far beyond creating wireframes or acting in just one stage).

In addition, it is desirable:

  • Proven ability to propose creative concepts in the initial phases of the project and to transform these ideas — and the ideas of others — into detailed designs with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to solve complex UX problems and apply product strategy to deliver visual solutions of the highest standard.
  • Ability to identify and utilize business and user behavior insights that help define an exceptional product.
  • Experience in synthesizing and presenting your work clearly and convincingly.
  • Experience in highly collaborative and iterative environments, where daily work sharing is part of the culture.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools.
  • Advanced/Fluent English

Basic Qualifications:

  • Portfolio or examples of digital product design work.
