This role involves actively engaging with potential real estate developer clients to understand their business strategies, growth plans, and funding needs. The Associate Director will advise clients on optimal strategic solutions for fundraising, land/asset acquisition, and divestment. Key responsibilities include originating and closing transactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, and managing the full project life cycle of investment banking solutions within the real estate sector.

Must Have

  • Reaching out to potential clients to understand business strategy, growth plan and funding requirement.
  • Advising clients on strategic solutions for fund raising, land/asset acquisition and divestment.
  • Originating and closing transactions related to land acquisition, fund raising for projects, investment sales and other structured deals.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans and drive business growth.
  • CA/MBA or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven track-record of 10-15 years in land and fund-raising transactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to navigate structured deals.
  • In-depth understanding of real estate market trends.

Job Description

  • Reaching out to the potential clients, mostly the real estate developers to understand their business strategy, future growth plan and funding requirement.
  • Advising the clients on most suited strategic solutions in terms of fund raising through different avenues, acquisition of land and constructed assets and divestment of land and constructed assets.
  • Originating transactions related to land acquisition, fund raising for projects, investment sales and other structured deals at different stage of real estate business cycle and getting mandates from the clients for the same.
  • Getting closure of the transactions originated and collection the advisory fees from the clients.
  • They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans and drive business growth.

Related Activities:

  • Thorough industry or market analyses, Company profiles / Portfolio analysis, Thematic studies, Pitch books, Capital Structure / Liquidity Analyses, Cash Flowing Modeling, Market Comparable analysis, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in depth primary and secondary research.
  • Client and investor interactions, site visits, preparing new databases and maintaining existing databases on a regular basis.
  • Managing full project life cycle of Investment Banking solutions for the clients in Real Estate sector, which would require skills for the following activities:

Qualifications

  • CA/ MBA or equivalent
