Job Description

DONTNOD Studios is seeking an Associate Producer for their next narrative project developed in Montreal. The role involves motivating and supporting the development team, ensuring project goals are met in a caring environment, communicating objectives, supporting task planning, synchronizing different trades, identifying and resolving blockers, and supporting work organization both in-person and remotely. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of production experience in indie, AA, or AAA titles, strong communication, and knowledge of agile methods.
Good To Have:
  • An experience with narrative games or narrative mechanics.
  • An experience on an Unreal Engine 5 project and its constraints.
  • Experience in managing small to medium-sized production team (20 to 40).
Must Have:
  • Motivate and support the development team to ensure that the goals, objectives, milestones and deliverables are attainable and achieved, in a caring work environment, in line with DONTNOD's values.
  • Communicate effectively on the objectives to be reached and their progress (creation of dashboards, organization of reviews, velocity metrics, etc...).
  • Support teams in defining and planning tasks.
  • Ensure an efficient synchronization between the different trades: management of dependencies, work priorities....
  • Identify blockers and production problems and participate in their resolutions.
  • Support the organization of work in person and remotely.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Production position (Associate Producer, Assistant Producer, Production Coordinator), on one or more indie, AA or AAA titles.
  • A good knowledge of the specificities and needs of the different production cycles of a PC/Console video game.
  • Ability to define and communicate clear objectives, as well as to monitor and optimize dependencies and priorities.
  • Mastery of production tools (JIRA, Confluence, Notion, etc.).
  • A high degree of autonomy in the work.
  • A good knowledge of agile production methods.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, in French and English.

DONTNOD Studios is looking for an Associate Producer to work on our next project 100% developed in Montreal

What you'll really be doing here?

Reporting to the Project Producer, you will interact with all members of the game team to ensure the smooth progress of its development.

Your mission will be to:
