Job Summary

Steel City Interactive is seeking an Associate Producer to help coordinate game development for 'Undisputed', the first major boxing video game in over a decade. This role involves supporting Producers in scheduling, task tracking, communication, and milestone delivery across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for delivering high-quality game content within a diverse and collaborative team environment.

Must Have

  • Assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating development tasks.
  • Maintain schedules, sprint boards, and project documentation.
  • Support daily communication across departments and partners.
  • Update project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Notion).
  • Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Track risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate concerns.
  • Ensure teams have necessary resources and information.
  • Organise internal reviews and milestone submissions.
  • Support build management and version tracking.
  • Coordinate with QA for testing and bug tracking.
  • Assist with reporting project health and progress.
  • Contribute to positive team culture and collaboration.
  • Previous experience in production or project support.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Notion).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced environment.
  • Understand game development workflows and pipelines.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and takes initiative.
  • Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Good to Have

  • Experience in game development studio or creative production.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

  • Knowledge of documentation and editorial practices.

The Role

As an Associate Producer at Steel City Interactive Ltd, you will help oversee and coordinate game development across multiple disciplines. Working closely with Producers, you will support scheduling, task tracking, communication flow, and milestone delivery. This role requires strong organisational skills, proactive problem-solving, and a passion for supporting teams to deliver high‑quality game content.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Producers in planning, tracking, and coordinating development tasks across departments.
  • Help maintain detailed schedules, sprint boards, feature breakdowns, and project documentation.
  • Support daily communication between design, art, programming, QA, and external partners.
  • Update project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Notion) with task status and notes.
  • Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings.
  • Track risks, issues, and dependencies while escalating concerns to Producers.
  • Ensure teams have the resources, documentation, and information needed to work efficiently.
  • Help organise internal reviews, milestone submissions, and delivery checklists.
  • Support build management, asset handoffs, and version tracking workflows.
  • Coordinate with QA to schedule testing, track bug priorities, and monitor fixes.
  • Assist with reporting project health, KPIs, and progress updates for leadership.
  • Contribute to maintaining positive team culture and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a production, coordination, project support, or similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Notion, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple tasks and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Understanding of game development workflows and pipelines.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
