Associate Producer - SCUM

Are you an experienced producer looking for an opportunity to develop into the next step of your career in a games studio working on a hugely popular online survival game? 

As an Associate Producer on SCUM, you will be a vital part of the team, coordinating team members, development partners & stakeholders to ensure efficient communication, flow of information and on-schedule delivery of tasks. 

This is a key influential role in the team where effective project management will have a profoundly positive impact on the team and the game. 

What you’ll be doing:  

• Work closely with the different teams across the project, ensuring they have everything they need to work to the best of their ability. 

• Support the team’s workflows by eliminating blockers and identifying improvements. 

• Facilitate relevant production ceremonies including stand ups or retrospectives, and estimation exercises. 

• Maintain easy to access documentation regarding project and team tracking. 

• Identify and document team and project risks; Driving risk management and mitigation.  

• Make realistic, accurate and valuable contributions to planning analysis and assessment, from both a production and product perspective, using data, project tracking software, team velocity dashboards, and product backlog prioritisation. 

• Provide regular, constructive feedback and reports to developers, leadership and stakeholders to help us continually progress and learn, especially regarding team performance and process. 

• Support the team with project management, including capacity shortages, work tracking, delivery plans, and scope to capacity schedules.  

What we’re looking for: 
 

• Proven experience in a production role within either a games studio or other software company. 

• Familiarity with the product lifecycle from concept to release, including an understanding of the games industry and the basics of game design. 

• An experienced team player, who cares deeply both about team health and customer satisfaction. 

• Strong project management skills including knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies. 

• A sociable and energetic individual who is able to secure buy-in to ideas as opposed to dictating them. 

• Fluency in English and Croatian languages. 

• Demonstrable experience of communicating clearly and effectively to different levels of seniority.  

• Knowledge of Jira or similar issue and project tracking software. 

• Ability to condense and communicate complex information in a concise and confident manner. 

• A genuine interest and passion for video games.
