Automation QA Engineer

Description

We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer with expertise in mobile testing and proven experience with the Flutter and Dart framework. Selected role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our automated mobile test suite, playing a critical role in our continuous integration and delivery pipeline. Your expertise will directly contribute to the stability, performance, and user-friendliness of our mobile betting applications, ensuring a seamless and fair experience for our global user base. Given the nature of the industry, a strong commitment to regulatory compliance and data integrity is paramount.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for complex mobile betting applications using the Flutter and Dart framework.
• Execute automated test suites and meticulously analyse test results, identifying and reporting defects with clear, concise, and detailed documentation.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and compliance teams to understand requirements, define comprehensive test strategies, and ensure exhaustive test coverage, particularly focusing on edge cases, transaction integrity, and regulatory adherence.
• Utilise Android Studio and Xcode to effectively debug, troubleshoot, and analyse mobile application issues, especially those related to real-time data, payments, and user authentication.
• Manage test cases and track defects meticulously within Jira, providing clear visibility into quality metrics.
• Leverage GitHub for version control of test automation code and foster seamless collaboration within the engineering team.
• Be involved in the manual testing process of the features developed.
• Participate actively in the scrum ceremonies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile testing trends, tools, and best practices, specifically those relevant to high-transaction and real-time mobile applications in the betting sector.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on mobile application testing, preferably within a high-transaction or regulated industry.
• Proven expertise in automation testing for mobile applications using the Flutter and Dart framework is essential.
• Solid understanding of the mobile application development lifecycle and comprehensive testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Android Studio and Xcode for mobile application debugging and in-depth analysis.
• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation tests for continuous deployment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team, including developers, product managers, and compliance officers.
• Experience with performance, security, or load testing for high-traffic mobile applications.
• Knowledge of Cypress with JavaScript.
• Understanding of the unique challenges and compliance requirements within the online betting or gaming industry.
