Job Summary

Join Yggdrasil Gaming as a QA Engineer (Junior/Regular) to innovate within our Games Portfolio. We are a leading technology company transforming ideas into groundbreaking gaming experiences. This role involves participating in quality assurance, defining test architecture, designing and maintaining automated tests using Java, and tracking software defects. You will take part in the full project lifecycle, contribute to improving testing patterns, and collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to ensure high quality and reliability of our gaming products.

Must Have

  • Participate in and support the project quality assurance process
  • Help define and implement test architecture within the project
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Java
  • Take part in the full project lifecycle, from early development stages to final release
  • Track, report, and provide feedback on software defects, functional failures, and usability issues
  • Contribute to improving testing patterns and enhancing the automation framework
  • Collaborate closely with developers and other QA Engineers in a cross-functional agile team
  • Support ensuring high quality and reliability of our gaming products
  • Commercial or strong practical experience in test automation, preferably in REST API testing
  • Experience or hands-on knowledge of automation frameworks such as RestAssured and Selenium
  • Good knowledge of Java
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Experience or interest in working with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker environments
  • At least basic knowledge of SQL
  • Understand the basics of continuous integration
  • Communicate well in English, both written and spoken

Good to Have

  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  • Experience working with Spring
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions (GitHub CI)
  • Experience with AWS cloud services

Qualifications

  • You have commercial or strong practical experience in test automation, preferably in REST API testing

  • You have experience or interest in working with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker environments
