Job Summary

Miratech is seeking an Amazon Connect Engineer with strong expertise in AWS services and hands-on experience implementing Amazon Connect solutions. The ideal candidate will also have solid experience with IBM ODM and backend development using Node.js or Python. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing contact center workflows, integrating decision services, and ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery. Responsibilities include configuring Amazon Connect solutions, building Contact Flows, optimizing call flow performance, and managing IBM ODM business rules and their lifecycle.

Must Have

  • Design, configure, and implement Amazon Connect contact center solutions
  • Build and maintain Contact Flows, routing logic, and Lambda-based backend logic
  • Optimize call flow performance, routing strategies, and customer experience
  • Develop, implement, and maintain business rules and decision logic using IBM ODM
  • Integrate ODM decision services with AWS workflows and backend systems
  • Manage the complete ODM lifecycle including rule authoring, execution, deployment, and governance
  • 4+ years of experience with AWS services, including at least 3 years with Amazon Connect
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ODM (Rule Designer, Decision Center, Rule Execution Server)
  • Proficiency in Node.js or Python for AWS Lambda development
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and JSON-based integrations
  • Familiarity with contact center KPIs, operational metrics, and call flow optimization
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Good to Have

  • Experience with Amazon Connect integrations involving AI/ML, Lex, or Kinesis
  • Exposure to other conversational AI platforms like Google Dialogflow
  • Experience implementing call center reporting or analytics dashboards
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or automation tooling
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence

We are seeking an Amazon Connect Engineer with strong expertise in AWS services and hands-on experience implementing Amazon Connect solutions. The ideal candidate will also have solid experience with IBM ODM and backend development using Node.js or Python. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing contact center workflows, integrating decision services, and ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement Amazon Connect contact center solutions.
  • Build and maintain Contact Flows, routing logic, and Lambda-based backend logic.
  • Optimize call flow performance, routing strategies, and customer experience.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve contact center metrics and system reliability.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain business rules and decision logic using IBM ODM.
  • Collaborate with business teams to model, validate, and test decision tables and rule flows.
  • Integrate ODM decision services with AWS workflows and backend systems.
  • Manage the complete ODM lifecycle including rule authoring, execution, deployment, and governance.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance of rule execution in production environments.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with AWS services, including at least 3 years with Amazon Connect.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ODM (Rule Designer, Decision Center, Rule Execution Server).
  • Proficiency in Node.js or Python for AWS Lambda development.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and JSON-based integrations.
  • Familiarity with contact center KPIs, operational metrics, and call flow optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
