Job Description

The Basketball Replay Operator will be responsible for the seamless operation of replay and coach's video review systems during WNBA games in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities include pre-game system checks, liaising with officials and broadcasters, monitoring technology during games, accurately reporting on reviews, maintaining equipment, assisting with installations, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role requires strong technical skills, time management, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a live broadcast environment. Weekend and holiday work is expected. Comprehensive training will be provided.

What Does A Typical Day Look Like?🛠

  • Assisting in the set-up of the replay and coach’s video review systems

  • Conducting pre-match checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures

  • Liaising with officials, broadcasters and Hawk-Eye staff, both on-site and remotely

  • Monitoring and maintaining the technology during the games

  • Accurately reporting on all reviews that occurred and the overall status of how the game went

  • Maintaining and building our hardware and equipment throughout the season and potentially the off-season

  • Assisting with any installation and testing of new products and services
