Job Description

The Bureau and Features Solutions Manager at Experian leads the design, development, and quality assurance of tailored solutions based on features, scores, and batch processes for internal and external clients. The primary goal is to generate business value through robust, precise developments aligned with technical and quality standards, ensuring the effectiveness of Bureau-based products and decision engines. This role involves leading a team, ensuring technical documentation is updated, and developing software components that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Must have:
  • Lead a team of 9 people
  • Lead detailed analysis and design of projects and product versions
  • Ensure continuous updating of technical documentation
  • Develop software components meeting functional, non-functional, and quality metrics
  • Define Bureau criteria and policies for feature development
  • Validate quality of developments in decision strategies, external scores, digital flows, and batch
  • Provide technical support for BRD elaboration
  • Manage production incidents related to delivered developments
  • Coordinate Cobol project activities
  • Offer technical guidance on products integrating Cobol developments
  • Implement new features and parameterize bundles in the feature engine
  • Support commercial and BD team in project initiation and maintenance
  • Accompany client in UAT tests
  • Guarantee customer satisfaction (NPS)
  • Expert in Java enterprise platforms, Cobol, Linux, Unix
  • Expert in decision engine projects, using frameworks like Struts or Hibernate
  • Knowledge of application servers like JBoss, IBM Websphere
  • Extensive knowledge in designing service-oriented platforms using corporate integration buses
  • Knowledge in object-oriented application design, software patterns, and UML
  • Knowledge in relational database management, specifically DB2

Purpose of the role:

The Bureau and Features Solutions Manager leads the design, development, and quality assurance of customized solutions based on features, scores, and batch processes, which respond to the needs of internal and external clients. Its main objective is to generate business value through robust, precise developments aligned with defined technical and quality standards, guaranteeing the effectiveness of products based on Bureau and decision engines.

Deliverables:

The deliverables are part of the System Design Package (SDP) for Cobol and Feature Engine programs:

  • Development components cataloged in environments (Development, Testing, Demo, Production).
  • Unit test documentation.
  • Execution manuals.
  • Analysis of cases reported by clients.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead a team of 9 people
  • Lead the detailed analysis and design of projects and product versions, aligned with the defined architecture.
  • Ensure continuous updating of technical documentation.
  • Develop software components that meet functional, non-functional requirements, and quality metrics.
  • Define Bureau criteria and policies for feature development.
  • Validate the quality of developments in decision strategies, external scores, digital flows, and batch.
  • Provide technical support to other areas in the preparation of BRD (Business Requirement Document).
  • Manage production incidents related to delivered developments.
  • Coordinate Cobol project activities, including tracking times and progress.
  • Offer technical guidance on products that integrate Cobol developments.
  • Implement new features and parameterize bundles in the feature engine.
  • Support the commercial and BD team in the initiation and maintenance phase of projects.
  • Accompany the client in UAT tests of integrated components.
  • Guarantee customer satisfaction (NPS).

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Education: Systems Engineer, Electronics Engineer or related. Master's or Specialization in Software Engineering or related areas.
  • Experience: 7 years in related positions. Software development, direct customer support.
  • Required technical knowledge: Expert in Java enterprise platforms, Cobol, Linux, Unix. Expert in decision engine projects, use of frameworks such as Struts or Hibernate. Application servers such as JBoss, IBM Websphere, Extensive knowledge in the design of service-oriented platforms that use corporate integration buses, as well as in object-oriented application design, software patterns, and UML. Knowledge in relational database management, specifically DB2.
