Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will support data engineering projects across various databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Vertica, GBQ) and ETL tools (Pentaho, Informatica), leveraging reporting platforms like Tableau/Looker. Key responsibilities include analyzing systems, documenting business use cases, building data lineage, designing SQL-based test scenarios, and integrating complex datasets for analysis. The role requires strong communication skills, advanced SQL proficiency, and significant documentation skills.

Must Have

• Support data engineering projects across various databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Vertica, GBQ & others).
• Leverage ETL tools (Pentaho, Informatica) and reporting platforms like Tableau/Looker.
• Analyze systems and document business use cases and system data design.
• Build data lineage and design SQL-based test scenarios.
• Build data quality validation inventories and integrate complex datasets for analysis.
• Possess very strong communication skills.
• Demonstrate advanced SQL proficiency.

Experience : 5+ Years

Education: B.E. Computer Science/IT degree

• Responsibilities include analyzing systems and documenting business use cases and system data design, building data lineage, designing SQL-based test scenarios, building data quality validation inventories and integrating complex datasets for analysis.
• Use data lineage tools to be more effective.
• This role requires very strong communication skills, advanced SQL proficiency, significant documentation skills (Visio/MIRO/Xwiki), and the ability to communicate technical SQL concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience in analytics both from databases and sheets is mandatory.
