Job Description

As a Business Analyst specializing in Credit Counterparty Risk, you will analyze, assess, and mitigate credit counterparty risks to ensure the bank's financial stability and compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze data, monitor and report on risk metrics, develop and maintain risk models, prepare reports for senior management, and assist in implementing risk management policies and procedures. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices is also a key responsibility.
Must have:
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in banking, with focus on credit risk.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit risk.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Good to have:
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Familiarity with financial instruments and markets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Certification in risk management (e.g., FRM, PRM) is a plus.

ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Credit Counterparty Risk to join our dynamic team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing, assessing, and mitigating credit counterparty risks, ensuring the bank's financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of credit counterparty risk exposures and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze data related to credit risk.
  • Monitor and report on credit counterparty risk metrics and trends.
  • Develop and maintain risk models and frameworks to assess credit counterparty risk.
  • Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve risk management practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit counterparty risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector, with a focus on credit counterparty risk.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.

Preferred Skills:
